The Emergency Powers (No.2) Regulations, 2018
The Emergency Powers Act refers to the existence of a State of Public Emergency and empowers the Governor-General to make regulations during a period of public emergency. The Emergency Powers Regulations, 2018, were laid in the House of Representatives on January 23, and in the Senate on January 26. The Emergency Powers (No.2) Regulations, an amendment, was proclaimed and gazetted on March 18, 2018.
